If you are interested in a work study or volunteer research position, send a brief email to lab manager Brooke Hassett ([email protected]) describing what aspect of the river center research is most interesting to you and what skills you would like to gain by working with us. Please include in that email information about when you would be available to help out.

After you have done that, contact the appropriate PIs, postdocs or graduate students directly. Let us know what you are interested in working on and be sure to attach your resume.

Are you interested in pursuing a Ph.D? The first step is to contact potential PIs with an email that thoroughly describes your research background and interests. Students may join one of the four lab groups through a variety of different PhD programs (Ecology, Environment, Earth and Ocean Sciences, Biology) depending on their interests and the home department/division of the primary mentor.
